Classroom Environment

A French speaking AMI (International Montessori Association) certified teacher and a native English-speaking teacher supervise your child throughout the day with an assistant during the lunch period and teacher breaks.

Each child learns to become autonomous and to respect the rules of community life.  The handling and understanding of the Montessori activities on a daily basis and with respect of the child’s rhythm allow the child to develop his concentration and dexterity. The “At Montessori” school offers an international environment, open to multicultural exchange and diversity.  The child, immersed in a multilingual environment, naturally discovers, absorbs, and becomes familiar with a new language.

8:30 to 9:00 am – Welcoming of the students and Circle time

9:00 to 10:30 am – Montessori Activities in French and in English

10:30 to 11:30 am – Outing to the park Catherine Labouré

11:30 am to 12:30 pm – Lunch

Lunch takes place in the classroom.  A hot meal is delivered by the caterer Ekilibre who provide balanced and varied menus that are frequently organic.  In case of medical allergies (a doctor’s note is required), the child can bring their own lunch.

12:30 to 2:30 pm – naptime with staggered awakening.  Each child wakes up on their rhythm and restarts the Montessori activities.

2:30 to 3:30 pm – Return to Montessori Activities in French and in English

3:30 to 4:00 pm – Circle time (songs, stories)

4:00 pm – departure of the children

Extra-curricular time

An extra-curricular time is organised by our partner Pari-Grandir every evening and Wednesday. Pari-Grandir also intervenes during the school holidays, with the exception of Christmas and August.

School Vacations

The school vacation calendar is the one set by the National Education Minister except for the summer vacation which begins the last Friday in June after class has ended.

Meetings with parents

Individual meetings with the parents take place every November and April with a written report at the end of the year.

Additional meetings can take place during the year on request by the parents or educators.
